Copyright notices

If material on EditIt.lol infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act on it. Every edit is attributable to a specific purchase, so takedowns are precise.

What a notice needs

• Identification of the copyrighted work you are claiming.
• The edit number or URL of the infringing material (for example editit.lol/e/18421).
• Your name, organisation and contact details.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

• We review the notice and the edit it refers to.
• Valid notices result in the content being hidden or removed from the live site and from public history.
• We record the removal reason, the moderator and the timestamp in an internal audit record.
• The edit number remains in the public record, marked as removed. The content itself is not displayed.
• Financial and transaction records are retained where we are legally required to keep them.

Counter-notices

If your edit was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, write to jafar.najafov@gmail.com with the edit number, your contact details, a statement explaining the basis of your belief, and your signature. We will review it.

Repeat infringement

Sessions and payment identifiers associated with repeat infringement are blocked from making further edits.
